A coding assistant for editors and terminals that works with several AI model providers.
What it helps with
Cline can help a developer inspect a project, propose edits, run terminal commands, browse sites, and work through a plan with approval prompts. An agency may value its VS Code extension, CLI, and choice of model vendors. It is developer-only in practice: tool permissions, model cost, provider credentials, and generated changes all need supervision. Some surfaces, including the JetBrains plugin, are not fully open-sourced in this repository.
