Quackback

Collect feature requests, customer votes, and product feedback in one board.

What it helps with

Quackback is an open-source feedback board positioned as an alternative to Canny, UserVoice, and Productboard. A small SaaS team can collect requests, let users vote, publish statuses, and reduce duplicate feedback across channels. It offers cloud and self-host paths, but it is much less established than Fider and deserves a cautious pilot. Before public use, validate authentication, email, moderation, backup/restore, export, upgrade cadence, and how easily the team can leave.

Best fit

Best for an experimental feedback portal at a small product team; not for a mission-critical roadmap system without a successful pilot.

Setup reality

Docker/simple self-host; repository deployment material includes containers, but production database, mail, domain, backups and upgrades still need ownership.

License context

Copyleft licenseBusiness use is allowed. Sharing duties depend on the specific license and how modified software is distributed or offered.

AGPL-3.0; business use is allowed; modified network deployments may require corresponding source.
